In woodworking straight lines are pretty easy, curves are a challenge. Making a curved door takes a lot of work. For these doors three pieces of wood with a slight angle on them are combined with a semicircular piece to form the rough shape. Then it is all hand work to transform it into a smooth curve.

The boxes are all solid hardwood with the exception of the back and drawer bottoms which are quality plywood for stability. All of the hardware including the piano hinges at the back is solid brass. The sides are held lightly in place with magnets, just enough to hold them but provide almost no resistance to opening.

With an overall height of approximately 16 inches, it features 8 drawers, four at 1-3/4" four at 2" high. The top drawer has padded ring bars with 4 rows that will hold 25-30 rings. The remaining drawers can be customized with whatever you would like for dividers. Each side has 10 hooks for necklaces and bracelets. It weighs a hefty 24 pounds.

I can do these in any combination of woods, but have only walnut and cherry on hand for the main wood. Please factor in an additional two weeks to get the lumber and allow it to acclimate to my shop.

Also available is version with only one side door for a lower cost.
